Blancpain
Founded in Villeret, Western Switzerland, in 1735 by Jehan-Jacques Blancpain; one of the oldest watchmaking firms in the world. Blancpain produces luxury watches presently and is owned by the SMH firm of LeBrassus. Blancpain produced, among others, the "Harwood" for the French market, as well as the various "Rolls" models. Prices for older Blancpain models begin at about $450.
