Spectacular Lord Elgin size 16 with multi coloured dial, 23 jewels and five adjustments this was one of the highest grade watches that Elgin made. The colours on the dial are very subtle. A definite collectors piece! From 1924 (inscription dates to 1929), this Lord Elgin was one of the finest dress watches available. This watch comes with the original fitted leather presentation box with price tag. $150 in 1929 was a substantial amount! A fine Elgin "VERITAS" 23j from 1901, housed in a 14k gold filled case. This a very fine example of a high grade railroad watch., the case has wear at the edges but the dial and movement are on great condition! From 1921 this scarce configuration with the crown at 6 and subsidiary seconds at 12 Elgin "B W Raymond" has the most spectacular patinated dial I have ever seen. At first glance it appears to be a gold coloured painted dial but closer inspection reveals the patina!
