I can only imagine that the watch was in the USA before the start of hostilities in WW2 . Tom Pickett has a connection to Baylor University where I believe that the library has a collection of his papers. This watch by itself is incredibly rare and collectible, in this condition with the connection to a famous Texan is unique!
