Finer Times knows that you care how information about you is used. In a nut shell we use very little of it and do not give any information out to a third parties. The following information details our privacy policy:

 What Personal Information About Customers Does Finer Times Gather?

• Automatic Information: For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes your IP address.  We use this information to analyze our traffic patterns and collect aggregate information on what pages customers access or visit.  This information is kept for 90 days and is deleted on a rolling basis.
• E-mail addresses: We store the e-mail addresses of those who have purchased from us for the purposes of communicating with our customers and for an occasional opt out mailing list to alert our past customers of any breaking product information, specials or noteworthy news. We do not store the e-mail addresses of individuals making general inquires or from those who post to our bulletin boards.
• Customer Information: For customers that have purchased from us, we also store billing and shipping information as well as any payment information completely off line on a computer that is not connected to the Internet.

What About Cookies?

• Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser. They enable our banner advertisements to be accurately counted and are not used for any other purpose.
• The "help" portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.

Does Finer Times Share the Information It Receives?

• Simply put: No. We do not share any information with any third parties. Period.

How Secure Is my personal information?

• The only information stored on our Internet server is the e-mail addresses used for our mailing lists. No financial or credit card information is stored on an internet accessible server. That’s pretty secure.

What Choices Do I Have?

• If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please email us at info@finertimes.com. In addition, any mailing list type communication we may send you will have an easy to use “opt out of mailing list” link.
