From 1927 an Illinois "Ace". A wonderful example of the art deco designs of this avant garde maker . very collectible .! (Ref rm1294) $511 Illinois - 21j,bunn special 60hr , lever set[movement], excellent+ Keystone base metal case, size 16, screwback and bezel [back], excellent double sunk enamel dial, blue steeled hands, subsidiary seconds, some minor hairlines visible with good eyes or strong glasses, a dial expert maybe able to soap them out. from 1927 this Illinois Bunn special '60hr' but marred by minor hairlines and probably not the original case, however it is a fine quality watch and would be a good carrying watch! Red, white and blue enamel backgrounds to the initials, F L T, perhaps standing for Friendship, Love, Truth, originally from the AOOF and now the IOOF[back], mint double sunk enamel dial, subsidiary seconds,blue steeled hands, the white and blue enamel backgrounds of the letters L and T have small chips. From 1917 this Burlington(a division of Illinois Watch)hunter cased watch is a fine example of a Railroad Grade watch, would not have been approved for railroad use as they had to be open faced!
